Tutor terms

These terms apply to everyone who creates a tutor profile and applies to tuition jobs on Manage Tutor. They add to our Terms of use. By creating a tutor profile you agree to them.

1. Who can be a tutor

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You may hold only one tutor account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, sold or run by someone else.

2. Your profile

• Use your real name and a recent, clear photo of your own face.
• Give a true and complete education history, with correct results and institutions.
• List only the classes, subjects, areas and days you can really teach.
• Do not put phone numbers, email addresses or social media links in your profile text. We share contact details at the right time.

3. Verification

• To be verified you upload a valid identity document (NID, both sides; or birth certificate or passport) and your university or college ID.
• Documents must be your own, genuine and readable. Uploading a false or edited document will end your account permanently and may be reported to the authorities.
• Your documents are seen only by our verification team and are never shown on your public profile.

4. Applying to jobs

• Apply only to tuitions you can take on in full: the location, days, time and salary.
• If a guardian shortlists you or invites you to a demo class, reply promptly and attend on time.
• If you accept a tuition, keep to what you agreed. If you must stop, give the guardian reasonable notice and tell our team.

5. Plans and the Trusted badge

• Creating a profile and browsing jobs is free. Some features, such as paid plans and the Trusted badge, cost a fee.
• The price and the period are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment partners (such as bKash and SSLCommerz).
• All payments are final under our Refund policy.
• A Trusted badge stays active for its paid period while your profile and documents remain valid. We may remove the badge, without refund, if you break these terms.

6. Conduct and child safety

• Be respectful, punctual and professional with students and families.
• Never harm, threaten, harass or behave inappropriately with a student. Any such report will be investigated, your account suspended, and the matter may be passed to the police.
• Use guardians’ contact details only for the tuition, and never share them with anyone else.

7. Independent tutors

You teach as an independent tutor. Manage Tutor is not your employer and does not pay your salary; the guardian pays you directly as agreed.

8. Suspension

We may hide your profile, remove applications or suspend your account if you break these terms or our Tutor guidelines, give false information, or receive serious complaints.
