Posting a tuition, choosing applicants, hiring and trial classes.

Hire a tutor in four steps

  1. Sign in with Google and post your tuition: class, version, subjects, area, days and salary.
  2. Our team checks the post, usually within 2 hours, and it goes live on the job board.
  3. Verified tutors apply. Shortlist the ones you like and invite them to a demo class.
  4. Send a hire request. When the tutor confirms, you both get each other's phone number.

Questions

Is it free to post a tuition?

Yes. Guardians post and review applicants for free. You only agree a monthly salary directly with the tutor you hire.

How long does it take for my post to go live?

An admin reviews every post before tutors can see it, usually within 2 hours between 9 am and 9 pm. We notify you as soon as it is live.

How long does my post stay open?

Posts stay open for 30 days after approval unless you pick an expiry date when posting. You can close a post early from My tuitions once you have hired.

When do I get the tutor's phone number?

As soon as the tutor confirms your hire request, you both receive each other's phone number, and the tutor gets your full address. Until then, contact details stay private on both sides.

Can I ask for a trial class before hiring?

Yes. When you hire, you can choose to start with two trial classes. The agreed salary applies from the third class.

What if the tutor isn't a good fit?

Tell our support team and close the post or post a new one. Other verified tutors can apply again, and you can leave an honest review for the tutor you hired.
